Video Card Overheating

I own a Nvidia 9800 GX2 and for 3 years this card has given great performance. However, recently it has started to overheat and runs at 90 C at idle and 115 C under load. Everytime the temperatures go above 110 C, the frame rates drop in the 5-10 range and makes game play horrible until the temperatures drop by a few degrees again. I’ve tried increasing fan speed of the GPU fan and all my case fans, but in vain. I also tried under clocking both the cards, but they still refuse to run under 100 C. I think its time to buy a new card and bid adeiu to this old friend.

I just ordered an ATI Radeon 6950 from newegg which should arrive hopefully, before the weekend.
